Ribyl Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ribyl mobile application, website, products, features, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility; Accounts

• Minimum age: You must be at least 13 years old to use Ribyl. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent you have parental/guardian permission.
• Account security: You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.
• One person, one account: Do not create accounts on behalf of others without authorization.

3. User Content & License to Ribyl

You retain ownership of the content you post, upload, stream, or otherwise make available on the Service (“User Content”). By providing User Content, you grant Ribyl a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, cache, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works (e.g., thumbnails, transcoding, formatting), distribute, publicly perform, and publicly display the User Content as necessary to operate, develop, provide, and promote the Service. This license ends when you delete your User Content from the Service, except to the extent it has been shared with others who have not deleted it or where copies are retained for backup, audit, legal, or compliance purposes.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant the above license and that your User Content does not infringe any third‑party rights or violate law.

4. Community Guidelines & Prohibited Conduct

You agree to follow Ribyl’s community standards and to not use the Service to:

• Post illegal content, threats, harassment, hate speech, incitement, or content that exploits, abuses, or endangers others.
• Post sexually explicit content, nudity involving minors, non‑consensual content, or sexual solicitation.
• Share private or confidential information (including doxxing) or impersonate others.
• Upload malware, spam, scams, or engage in deceptive or fraudulent practices.
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual‑property rights.
• Evade moderation, attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or disrupt the Service.

We may remove or restrict content, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Moderation; Reporting; Appeals

• Moderation actions: Ribyl may review, remove, limit visibility, or restrict features for content or accounts at our sole discretion.
• Reporting: Users can report content or accounts they believe violate these Terms.
• Appeals: If your content or account is restricted, you may appeal by contacting support@ribyl.com.

6. Copyright & DMCA

If you believe content infringes your copyright, please send a notice to support@ribyl.com including: (a) your contact details; (b) identification of the copyrighted work; (c) the infringing material and its location; (d) a statement of good‑faith belief; (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized; and (f) your signature. We may remove content and terminate repeat infringers as appropriate.

7. Device Permissions & Location

Some features require permissions (e.g., camera, microphone, photos, notifications, approximate location). You can manage permissions in your device settings. Certain features may not work without the requested permissions.

8. Messaging, Calls & Shorts

Ribyl may offer direct messages, audio/video calls, posts, notes, videos, and shorts. You agree to use these features lawfully and respectfully. We may use automated systems and limited human review to address abuse, spam, or violations.

9. Virtual Items, Subscriptions & Payments

• We may offer virtual items or subscriptions. Prices are shown before purchase and may change prospectively.
• Except where required by law, purchases are final and non‑refundable. App‑store billing terms may apply.
• Subscriptions auto‑renew until cancelled in your app‑store settings or within Ribyl if available.

10. Third‑Party Links & Services

The Service may contain links to third‑party websites, content, or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

11. Data; Analytics; Cookies

We use analytics, logs, cookies, and similar technologies to operate, secure, and improve the Service, and to understand usage. See the Ribyl Privacy Policy for more information.

12. Availability; Changes; Beta Features

The Service may change, be interrupted, or discontinued without notice. We may introduce experimental or beta features that may be unstable or change at any time.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR‑FREE.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RIBYL AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ribyl from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

16. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or for risk, legal, or security reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time. Some obligations survive termination (e.g., licenses, disclaimers, limitations of liability).

17. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by reasonable means (e.g., in‑app prompt or email). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Age‑Sensitive & Safety Provisions

• We prohibit exploitation, endangerment, or harm to minors. Report concerns to support@ribyl.com.
• Do not share personal data publicly that could risk your safety or the safety of others.
• If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

19. Account Deletion & Data Retention

You can request deletion of your account via in‑app settings or by contacting support@ribyl.com. We may retain certain information as required by law, for fraud prevention, safety, dispute resolution, or auditing and backups.
